Bridesmaid Proposal Brunch

I have had the best time using my engagement as a reason to host events, my friends know I love to host! For my bridesmaid proposal, I decided to plan a brunch and surprise my bridesmaids asking them to be apart of my wedding. I asked everyone to come in pink and said it was a Mean Girls themed brunch. They were all excited about this, so I might just redo an actual Mean Girls brunch! Haha.

I hosted the brunch, asking everyone to be there at 11. Please take it from me, tell everyone it’s earlier so they’ll be on time lol! When everyone finally arrived, I had the best time watching them figure out the actual occasion. Their facial expressions were all over the place, it was so cute.

I decorated with white heart balloons, gift boxes with their name tags, and a sign that told them it was our first bridal brunch. I also created the notes for each proposal on Canva myself. One side was asking them to be my bridesmaid/bridesman and the back had a little love note for each person.

My dad was an angel and helped me cook. We served a veggie scramble with turkey bacon, croissants, fresh fruit, and potatoes. Of course we had mimosas, including my sister in law Sam who had non-alcoholic mimosas since she’s pregnant (this is a great option to have at all bridal events, too!).

If I wasn’t anxiously running around and freaking out, I would’ve added more flowers and candles. I originally wanted a rose to go with the baby’s breath bunch on top of each box. I also anticipated adding candles on the table and completely forgot. I was scrambling, trying to hurry because a few people were actually on time lol.

The brunch turned out to be a success, everyone said yes and loved their gifts! We had such a good time and struggled to get a group picture which is always the worst. After brunch, we headed to some cute bars in downtown Phoenix and had the most unexpected night. It was a blast! I highly recommend surprising your bridesmaids like I did. I still have two more bridesmaids to gift when they’re back in town and then we’re set with my team!!

The Gifts:

When creating the gift boxes, I already had a vision and really wanted to aim for a travel and self-care theme, since that’s all we enjoy. I also wanted gifts that were things they could use often and not just on wedding day or bridal activity days. After some serious searching on Pinterest, Etsy, and Amazon I decided on these goodies:

I must say, the wine labels were a major hit. I notice that anything personalized is always a favorite! I used my favorite photos and some baby pics for my cousins, they were obsessed. Everyone also loved the self-care goodies. Safe to say my picks worked out perfectly so I can recommend them to you all.

Some other ideas for your bridesmaid gifts:

I loved this surprise proposal brunch and I can’t wait to host more. I have so many ideas for my bachelorette party and small trips and dinners we also want to go on! Ttyl!
