My Bachelorette | Cabo San Lucas

Picking a destination for my bachelorette party was a journey of its own, we went over several destinations but eventually decided Cabo San Lucas would be everything I wanted. I always try to opt for beach locations that have good food, the option to go on some type of adventures, and of course somewhere beautiful. I have never been to Cabo, so planning was exciting!

My girls went above and beyond for me. They planned everything you can imagine from decorations, birthday gifts and surprises, a private chef, activities, all of our reservations, and came through with the hottest outfits for our themes! I seriously could not have asked for a better group and experience! I am so grateful for the love and effort my girls put in for my bachelorette trip, here’s how it went:

The Themes

Day 1: Cosmos in Cabo – silk and feather pjs.

Day 2: Main Squeeze – orange and yellow.

Day 3: Bad Girls Go To Heaven – rhinestones and glitter.

Day 4: Drunk in Love – shades of pink.

Day 5: Send Nudes – shades of nudes, tan, and brown.

The Itinerary

Day 1- Arrive to Cabo San Lucas!:

Our Cabo trip plans were a mix of activities that were relaxing, adventurous, and fun, of course – we aimed for balance. When we finally landed and drove about an hour from the airport, we arrived to our Airbnb to fresh ceviche, fruits, and a few sides prepared by a chef that we booked. This was perfect after a long morning of traveling to Cabo! I highly recommend doing this. After settling in, we did a grocery/drink run at Walmart. My amazing bach group set up decorations and gifts while some of us ran to the store and it melted my heart! We spent the evening resting and unpacking.

Day 2: Main Squeeze

My sister in-law Sam cooked us the best breakfast when we woke up before we all got ready. We decided to have some drinks and play some bachelorette games before heading out to SUR Beach House for lunch on the beach. We loved the oysters, black aguachile, and some of the sushi rolls.

The chill day that we planned turned into day drinking and bar hopping. We mainly spent our time at Squid Roe and Cabo Shots where we were able to be DJ and play any music we liked. Hookah and shots killed me the next day! We ended the night at a taco spot and I fought to keep my spinning head and sleepy eyes open while the girls sang me happy birthday at 12.

Day 3: Bad Girls Go To Heaven

My birthday! I woke up to a delivery knocking at our door- Victor sent the most beautiful bouquet of long stem roses to me! He’s so sweet, this made my day. This was my favorite theme out of all the ones I chose. We wore rhinestones, silver, black, and all things glitter for this theme. It looked amazing at night in the club lighting and worst part is, we got no group pictures! Thankfully I did capture some moments of the girls and their hottest outfits!

For our yacht experience, we went with Cabo Yacht Charters and had a phenomenal experience. My #1 piece of advice is to avoid heavy drinking the day before you go on any type of water activity. We were all so nauseous and honestly had a very chill yacht experience. I am sure they were thinking we may be the most boring/chill bachelorette party ever but we were fighting for our lives! Haha.

Our yacht was amazing, we had a bartender and a chef with three courses. They team greeted us with drinks, a charcuterie board, a birthday cake, and balloons for me. It was such a sweet surprise! The captain too us to see the arches and set up a floaty close to Lover’s Beach where we fed the fishes tortillas. I got to pop my beautiful champagne bottle that Sam made me and we danced, hungover and all. They were very accommodating for Sam, since she is pregnant and cannot eat/drink certain things. The chef made us ceviche and the best chicken fajitas for the rest of the day.

After our day on the water, we spent some time at our pool and learned that the Cabo sun is no joke. Sunscreen is key here! We then went to our reservation at Rosa Negra, which was a disappointing experience. The food was very average at high prices and the vibe that you usually expect was dead! It was empty and there were no sparklers. Afterwards, we ended the night at Mandala before heading back to get rest.

Day 4: Drunk in Love

We started our day with a beautiful yoga session by the pool with ocean views. I worked with Baja Moon Yoga to coordinate the session and highly recommend it! It was so peaceful and really set the tone for the rest of our trip. After yoga, we ate breakfast that was prepared by the chef again (it was amazing!), then got picked up to head to our beach horseback riding reservations.

We went with Amigos Activities for our horseback riding, which was about $95 per person. It was such a beautiful experience and we had a lot of laughs. Please avoid wearing dresses when you’re horseback riding (this is probably common knowledge but we learned our lesson haha). My image for the photos/outfit was very different than the reality! After a long day of activities, we relaxed and got ready for our dinner reservation at the beautiful El Farallon at Waldorf Astoria.

El Farallon is an insanely beautiful, but pricey restaurant and is popular for a reason. If you are looking to go, book a reservation in advance and I highly recommend going around sunset! The pictures would’ve been incredible and it would’ve been much less chilly. The food and drinks were great. I loved the experience and will be back!

This was one of our most jam-packed days. It was an amazing day and the cherry on top was going to Mandala with all the girls dressed in pink and the vibes were perfect. There were so many other bach parties and brides celebrating! I recommend booking the bachelorette package, which we didn’t get to do because you have to book in advance. It would’ve been worth the splurge, I recommend it!

Day 5: Send Nudes

After a long, adventurous day 4, day 5 was a slower morning. The girls slept in while Sam and I went to get breakfast at Lolita’s Restaurant and bring back food for the group. They had a great variety of dishes, fresh juices, and good food overall! This was the fuel we needed for the rest of the day.

We started to come back to life and headed to Medano Beach for drinks, massages, and more sun. This is a very busy beach with lots of foot traffic and people trying to sell you things. The massages we got were from locals selling their service, so we all got a massage on the beach and loved it. I recommend going to Mango Deck for a fun beach club, if you have the energy! Funky Geisha and SUR Beach House are also nearby places check out.

After our beach day, our group had to get ready for a private beach dinner reservation. While the ambiance and aesthetic were great, the service was seriously awful. The restaurant we booked at was Corazon Beach Club. The set up was great, but we sat there for two hours with our waiter forgetting about us multiple times and never bringing us our food. Unfortunately, we ended up cancelling everything and leaving hungry. We had to make a quick stop back at our Airbnb to change shoes, eat Maruchan, and head out to the club.

Our night started at La Vaquita and it was a cute club with great music! We stayed for a bit before heading back to Mandala where we spent the rest of our night. This is where we ended my bachelorette trip and where the girls made me feel extra special and loved. We had great drinks, met other bach parties, and the girls had them display my ‘bride to be’ sign in the club. The next morning, we headed back home hungover and all.
